Plexr Plasma

Plexr is a plasma generator. It is neither a laser, nor a radio scalpel, nor a radiofrequency device; thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention. Plexr's technology is patented internationally, after several years of research and clinical studies in Italy and worldwide.

Plasma is defined as the fourth state of matter (in addition to solid, gaseous and liquid), and it can be thought as “liquified gas” according to physicists.

Plasma is used to create a radius of microplasma that “deconstructs” the components of the epidermis, sublimating them. (Sublimation is the physical term for the direct transition from the solid to the gaseous state). Essentially, it is used to dissolve areas of skin that are in excess or overhanging.

Plexr can be used to treat many conditions however most commonly it is used for;

• Skin tightening
• Eyebrow lifting
• Non-surgical blepharoplasty
• Mole removal
• Perioral line reduction

Small crusts on the treated skin will form during treatment and will fall in about 5-10 days. Swelling will be present for approximately 5 days, peaking at 24 hours and gradually reducing after that.

There is no bruising, no passage of electricity and no thermal damage. The action of the device is very superficial. This highlights the safety of Plexr as it only works on the epidermis and it doesn't pass the dermal papilla (unless the doctor purposefully does so).

There are many copies of this device on the market, however to our knowledge, none other have been approved by the TGA. This device is used only by a Doctor or Nurse (RN).
